Ballot paper printing for the August 8 poll will come to a halt tonight.

Dubai based Al Ghurair firm says 95 per cent of the ballot papers are already done.

The papers will arrive in Nairobi on July 31 and August 1.

The firm was given the green light to print the Presidential ballot papers on 20 July by the Court of Appeal.

The opposition had sought to block the firm from printing the papers. According to NASA, the firm had met with President Uhuru Kenyatta and were planning on rigging the general elections.

The court also found insufficient evidence linking the President to the firm.

The first batch of ballot papers arrived on 18 July.
