Barclays Bank will starting October 1 shut down seven branches across the country in a bid to cut costs.
The bank will have four of the seven branches merge with other branches as earlier announced.
Haile Selassie branch will merge with the one on Harambee Avenue, Waiyaki Way with Westlands, Moi Avenue with Queensway House and Nakumatt Meru with Meru town branch.
The lender will also have Kawangware branch to Lavington, Wundanyi to Voi and Rahintullah to Bunyala.

Notifying the customers of the changes, Barclays said: ‘You can also do your banking via our mobile and online banking platforms at any Post Office country wide.”
The move will however not affect the employees.
