After committing the crime the man reportedly turned to  his expectant wife on Thursday evening leaving her with severe injuries.

The woman was rushed to Nakuru Level Five Hospital where she is nursing her injuries.

Following the horror attack, medics at the hospital terminated the woman’s five-month pregnancy.

“The woman was received in a very critical condition. She had facial injuries, swollen hands, legs and lost her pregnancy,” Dr Joseph Mburu, a medic at the facility, told The Standard on Sunday.
