    Uhuru Picks Ben Chumo’s Replacement As SRC Chairperson

    President Uhuru Kenyatta has replaced former Kenya Power Managing Director Ben Chumo as Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) chairperson.

    The former MD who was in July charged with corruption has been replaced with Lynne Cherop.

    Chumo was rejected by MPs based on integrity issues raised against him.

    Ms Cherop was among a list of people who were supposed to replace Sarah Serem who was picked by the president to an ambassadorial job.

    The president has picked Anne Makori as IPOA Chairperson, Ex-IEBC Legal Affairs boss Praxedes Tororey among seven members.
