    Cat Meat

A man, Martin Murimi was on Thursday arrested in Nairobi’s Eastleigh area by City Council officers while in the process of skinning a cat and selling cat meat.

The Samosa vendor was arrested and taken to the City Hall courts.

Kenyans have been asked to be careful of what they partake especially from street vendors. Cat meat is not considered a delicacy in Kenya.

While it is considered a delicacy to bring good luck in Cameroon ,Kenya is not there yet and it is highly unlikely that Mr. Murimi was selling it for the same reasons.
