    BREAKING: Bodyguard of the Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu Shot, Gun Taken Away

    The official driver and bodyguard of the deputy Chief Justice has been shot and left for dead near old Nairobi Women’s Hospital.

    The police bodyguard was driving near old Nairobi Women’s hospital where he was ambushed and shot then his official gun taken away by the assailants.

    The Supreme Court is scheduled to rule on whether the elections will go on or not tomorrow.

    The shooting has prompted the Chief Justice to advice Supreme Court staff to stay indoors and deploy extra security measures.

    The bodyguard is believed not to be dead and is currently being treated at one of the local hospitals.
