A Kiambu businessman has threatened to sue Thika Road Mall (TRM) management after thugs stole valuables of unknown value and Sh500,000 in cash from his car on Saturday.

Eric Ndichu alias Ka-virginia had his Range Rover KBT 577G vandalized in the afternoon. He parked his car in the mall’s rooftop parking and headed straight for KCB.

“On Saturday, l went to TRM’s rooftop parking and headed to KCB bank around 1:30 p.m where I withdrew Ksh565 000 before the early closing hours of banks on Saturday,” he recounted.

After making the withdrawal, the businessman left the money in the car and went back into the mall.

CCTV footage shows that four men and a woman had been trailing him from the time he left his car at the parking lot, to the bank and back to his car.

The thugs are seen breaking the windows, with one sustaining injuries. Another gets into the car and suffers some deep cuts as they reach for the money and valuables.

According to the businessman, the thieves made away with “all the money, phones, laptops and other valuables.”

They then leave the mall in a white Nissan Tilda KCM 631X.
