There will be a moment of silence observed before kick-off in all the CAF Champions League round of 6 matches on Saturday in honor of departed match commissioner, Hussein Swaleh.
Swaleh was among the 32 Kenyans who died in the Ethiopian Airline plane crash which claimed the lives of over 100 people last week in Ethiopia.
“CAF will organize a moment of silence before kick-off in all matches of Day 6 of #TotalCAFCL in memory of the victims of the Ethiopian Airlines plane crash including Mr. Hussein Swaleh,” the continental body said in a statement.
The former Football Kenya Federation branch chairman was returning from Alexandria, Egypt where he had commissioned a Champions League match between Ismaily SC and TP Mazembe.
