The group’s debut album, Soul Food (1995), helped pioneer Southern rap with its introspective lyrics and soulful production, followed by Still Standing (1998) and World Party (1999).

After Goodie Mob’s initial run, CeeLo pursued solo work, releasing albums like CeeLo Green and His Perfect Imperfections (2002) and CeeLo Green… Is the Soul Machine (2004).

In 2010, his solo album The Lady Killer spawned the viral single “Fuck You!” (radio version: “Forget You”), peaking at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning widespread acclaim.

He served as a coach on NBC’s The Voice for four seasons starting in 2011, boosting his visibility.

Later projects include albums like Heart Blanche (2015), and he has continued performing, producing, and appearing in media, including endorsements and television.
