Samuel Kamau Karanja alongside his co accused were charged for the murder of 52 people who died in 2016 after a building collapsed.

It is alleged that the same Samuel Karanja was still the owner of the building that collapsed in Huruma on Sunday killing four people.

The national construction authority (NCA) has been put on the spot for sending inexperienced officers to inspect buildings hence leading to construction of buildings that have not completely complied with the set regulations.

Kenyans on twitter have said that failure of officials to appear in court was the reason that the unscrupulous building owners continued to thrive. People who fall victim to such end up without getting justice.

Buildings have been collapsing killing several, the cause of the buildings has howwever been apportioned to different institutions but the changes to improve the status quo are yet to be achieved.
