David Lambert is an American actor and musician, best known for his role as Brandon Foster in the acclaimed Freeform series The Fosters.
Born on November 29, 1993, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Lambert grew up in a diverse household with a Puerto Rican mother and an American father of Irish, English, German, and French descent.
His early life was marked by frequent moves due to his father’s business, living in places like England, Texas, Taiwan, and eventually settling in Georgia.
Homeschooled by his parents, Lambert developed a passion for the performing arts at a young age, beginning his acting career in theater at just three years old with a role in The Wizard of Oz.

Career
Lambert’s career began in theater, where he performed in productions like The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (as Mr. Tumnus), Seussical (as Mr. Mayor), and The Jungle Book (as Phao).
His transition to television came in 2007 with a guest role as Jalen in Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.
The following year, he made his film debut in the TV movie Pretty/Handsome, playing a young Bob Fitzpayne.

His big break arrived in 2009 when he landed the role of Jason Landers in the Disney XD series Aaron Stone, portraying the socially awkward brother of the titular character.
In 2010, Lambert starred as Danny “Goose” Gustavo in the Disney Channel movie Den Brother, further solidifying his presence in family-oriented entertainment.
He continued to build his resume with roles in A Smile as Big as the Moon (2012) as Steve Bennett, a boy with ADHD and Tourette syndrome, and in the indie film The Lifeguard (2013) opposite Kristen Bell.
However, his most iconic role came in 2013 when he was cast as Brandon Foster in The Fosters.
