Former TV girl Doreen Gatwiri who accused Mwingi Central Gideon Mulyungi of assaulting her opened up to the Nairobian about the tumultuous relationship that they had.
Other than hiding his past, the legislator was promiscuous bringing other girls into their matrimonial home . Doreen said that she confronted the MP and she was harshly told to ask around who Mulyungi was.

“One of the girls even posted photos while in my car and in the house and when I confronted him, he brushed me aside saying, ‘When you leave the house unaexpect nikae aje? Kama haujui Mulyungi ni nani, nenda ukaulize,” she told The Nairobian.
Doreen disclosed that the MP failed to disclose the cause of death of his first wife and son and when she asked she was told to keep her nose out his business. He later told her that the wife died after being poisoned by a worker and that his son suffocated while in a car.
This confession forced her to go to the hospital to get checked if he had given her any sort of disease
She said that The MP has anger issues that the could beat her up injuring her. She said that as he had left her matrimonial home but her parents asked her to go back which she did.
The story of her assault came into the Public domain after she posted of the fear for her life from the latest assault which she reported to Karen Hardy police station.
