Deputy President William Ruto has hit back at Raila Odinga and his allies calling them lazy and incompetent people, he was responding to ODMs communications director Philip Etale who said that he was holding the country hostage.
“Lazy and incompetent people do not want to work hard. Such people lose an election and try to blame it on the Constitution,” William Ruto said.
The deputy president has opposed the calls for a referendum championed by Raila Odinga saying that that a constitutional amendment should be people driven and not pushed by selfish political agenda.
He also claimed that Raila’s close allies such as James Orengo have been trying to engage him in conversations to discuss constitutional review but he refused to do so.

“I don’t want us to have the discussion here today. Even when we will discuss, the subject cannot be about the politicians but the people ,” he said while attending the third annual legislative summit in Mombasa.
The political rivals have been hailing attacks at each other with Ruto calling Raila a loser who wanted to push the referendum agenda for selfish interests. The politicians mercenaries have strongly rallied their support towards their leaders
