The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Keriako Tobiko has called for the prosecution of Kisumu Senator Fred Outa and former Deputy Governor, Ruth Odinga.

Mr Tobiko on Monday directed that they be arrested and charged with incitement.

The two are accused of attacking IEBC officials during a training on Wednesday.

The leaders are said to have been apprehended shortly after but were taken to an unknown police station.

It is said that NASA leader, Raila Odinga’s sister and Outa went missing and their mobile phones went off.

Nyanza regional police boss Leonard Katana said they (police) were yet to make any arrests.

Raila has asked his supporters to give a wide berth the October 26 elections. He has asked them to demonstrate against the IEBC on Tuesday and Wednesday.

He, while speaking in Kiminini, maintained that there would be no elections on Thursday.

The opposition has insisted that the fresh elections should they be held on Thursday will not be credible.
