Aukot says that his party is ‘currently going through CVs of Kenyans seeking to be considered in its shadow cabinet.’

His cabinet, he says will play transformation politics and will help keep President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government in check.
The lawyer who came in third in the October repeat polls took up the role of opposition leader. He says that just because he was beaten in the race to state house, he will not ‘shelf our idea of how to run an effective and responsive government.’

President Kenyatta on Friday retained 6 Cabinet Secretaries, submitted three names for vetting; Keriako Tobiko, John Munyes and Ukur Yattani.
He is yet to name 13 members to his cabinet who are expected to help realize his four economic development pillars.
