Former Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue would like to coach youth team of Ghanaian heavyweights Asante Kotoko.

Eboue told a local FM station that he wants to “change the fortunes of Kotoko youth set up” and that he intends to tender in his resume.

Kotoko senior team is currently without a coach after parting ways with Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin who resigned.

“I will be very happy if I coach Kotoko’s youth team. That’s my dream. I want to tender in my CV at the club,” the ex-Cote d’Ivoire international said.

He added: “I want to change the fortunes of Kotoko youth set up.”

“I know Kotoko for long when I was playing for Arsenal and also know how the fans react if they lose a match at home. I can stand any pressure.

“Ghana has so many talents but how to use them has been a problem,” he deduced.

Kotoko remain the most storied club in Ghana and has won the local league a record 23 times.

However the team like many former African giants are grappling with the changing nature of modern football and have not enjoyed much success in the recent years.

Eboue is shifting to life after football after a troubled ending to his career which saw him banned after disagreeing with his agent.

He has also had marital problems resulting in a divorce which left him homeless in the UK.
