Essar Kenya to Launch a New “Refreshed Look” and Voice Promo Tomorrow

Essar Kenya would want to win some loyalty. Though there is no major move to convince the market that the company is here for the long term, it would want the market to forget the leaks about its impending exit from the Kenyan market. Through an invite, the company has indicated that it is launching a new refreshed look and also “an offer which is the first of its kind in the market”.

These moves might be more geared towards reassuring the many suppliers, distributors and clients that the company is in Kenya for a longer period. The voice promos to be launched tomorrow might be the lowest and almost suicidal if you ask me. Just the other week the network launched SMS rates which are almost Ksh 0.50 across networks.

It would be interesting to wait and see what move yu will pull tomorrow but it might be one very brave move.
