    Facebook Man Accused Of Killing Lover On First Date Arraigned In Court

    Richard Nyakina, the Facebook man who was accused of killing his girlfriend Lydiah Nyaboke who he met on the social media platform was on Thursday arraigned in court.

    According to the charge sheet the man was said to have murdered his girlfriend in Ngong forest at an unknown time.

    The deceased who met the accused through Facebook had traveled to Nairobi for their first date.

    The accused strangled the deceased using her clothes and left her to die in the forest.

    The deceased was staying with her younger brother and had promised to be back by the end of the day but never showed.

    The accused could however not take a plea as there was no counsel representing him.

    The plea was deferred to to the 7th of September.
