10 people are reported to have died late this morning after a lorry collided with a PSV along the busy Kisumu to Kakamega highway. The accident which claimed around 20 lives saw a build-up of traffic along the highway.
A minibus christened Umoja collided headon with a pick-up which was carrying around 20 people. More than 14 people in the pickup died while around 6 people in the minibus also lost their lives.
