Georgia Voll is an Australian professional cricketer known for her aggressive right-handed batting at the top of the order and occasional right-arm off-break bowling.
Born on 5 August 2003 in Toowoomba, Queensland, she grew up in the Highfields area on the Darling Downs, where sport formed a central part of family life.
Her father, Russell Voll, played rugby league for the Toowoomba Clydesdales, including in the 1996 Queensland Cup grand final, while her mother, Samantha Voll, is the founder and CEO of Impact Digital Marketing.
Voll initially excelled in multiple sports, particularly rugby league, where she played in boys’ teams for the Highfields Eagles until rules restricted her participation around age 12.
She has represented Australia in all formats since her international debut in late 2024 and has become one of the rising stars of women’s cricket.
Siblings
Georgia has two siblings; her older brother, Tristan Voll, is the director at TJV Constructions.
He was a key figure in backyard games of rugby and cricket, often competing with Georgia and helping her train, including working on skills such as kicking or net sessions.
Tristan’s move to Brisbane for work in 2020 coincided with the family’s relocation, providing a stable base as Georgia entered professional cricket.
Her younger sister, Alana Voll, is described as a creative influence in the family.
She has offered emotional support throughout Georgia’s journey and once engraved the words “Heart Over Height” on one of Georgia’s bats as a personal motto.

Career
Voll’s cricket career began in junior ranks after she transitioned from rugby league due to limited pathways for girls in that sport.
She debuted for Queensland Fire in the Women’s National Cricket League in February 2020 while still a teenager and joined the Brisbane Heat for the Women’s Big Bash League in the 2020–21 season, becoming one of the club’s youngest players.
She developed steadily in domestic cricket, scoring important centuries for Queensland, including stands of 116 against New South Wales and 142 against Victoria that helped the side reach finals.
In the 2024–25 season she moved to the Sydney Thunder in the WBBL.
Overseas, she has featured for North West Thunder in England, UP Warriorz in the Women’s Premier League, where she produced strong innings including near-centuries, Birmingham Phoenix in The Hundred, and later Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Welsh Fire.
Her international breakthrough came in December 2024 when she made her One Day International debut for Australia against India at Allan Border Field.
In only her second ODI she scored a century, making 101 off 87 balls and becoming one of the youngest Australians to achieve the milestone.
She followed with her T20 International debut against England in the Women’s Ashes in January 2025 and her Test debut later that month.
Voll contributed to Australia’s dominant Ashes campaign and has since featured regularly across formats, including a T20I century and strong series performances.
By 2026 she had helped Australia win the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
Accolades
Domestically Voll was named Queensland Fire Player of the Year and earned Cricket Australia’s Women’s Domestic Player of the Year award for her consistent run-scoring across the WNCL and WBBL.
She received ESPNcricinfo’s Women’s Debutant of the Year recognition in 2024 following her impactful international start.
In March 2025 she was voted ICC Women’s Player of the Month after strong T20I performances.
Team successes include a WBBL runner-up finish with Brisbane Heat, a Women’s Premier League title with Royal Challengers Bengaluru in 2026, and Australia’s victory in the 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
