Google launched its location service which many tech bloggers believes is a targeted competition at Foursquare but we bet that it looks more PlanJam. The service allows you to discover new places to checkout.
Google describes it this way;
Whether it’s exploring a new city, checking out a friend’s movie recommendations, or just finding new activities for your weekends, Schemer lets you discover new things to do, share schemes with friends, and make the most of your day.
We’re a scrappy team of Google engineers who wanted to help people do fun stuff in the real world. So we went ahead and built Schemer! We hope you like it.
Schemer is currently in beta and invite only but add us on Google+ to get exclusive information and invitations to join.
Theidea of Schemer is for members to start “schemes,” or plan cool things to do, as well as to explore schemes from other.

We are still trying the service. You can get some invites to Schemer by commenting on this post or retweeting the post. You can also just click on this link http://schemer.com/invite/7efirl0h65lha
