Gor Mahia’s CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinals first leg match against RS Berkane of Morocco on 7th April is in limbo!
This follows Sports Kenya move to hire out the Kasarani Stadium, the only CAF approved venue in Kenya currently, for a “Shopping Festival” from 3rd to 7th April.
K’Ogalo’s effort to book the venue on Wednesday hit a snag with the Sports Kenya Director General Pius Metto returning a “No” answer.
“We wish to inform you that the facility is not available for your football match due to other earlier scheduled events,” Metto replied in a letter to the club.
