    Governor Sonko Says Hawkers To Be Moved From CBD Before End Of November

    GovernorGovernor Mike Sonko has responded to the public outcry of having hawkers  all over the central business district. He said that the hawkers will be out of the CBD by end of November.

    The governor is said to be facilitating a smooth transitional process by having meetings with the the hawkers with the major meeting slated for next week.

    The Nairobi governor however urged  the hawkers to move to the land allocated to them in Ngara before the meeting.

    He said that the hawker menace was as result of unscrupulous county officials who let the hawkers into the city at a fee that is usually shared among all the officers of all ranks.
