Kenya’s senior men’s national team, Harambee Stars, return to the Kasarani Stadium Tuesday to take on the Flames of Malawi in an international friendly.

Stars registered a historic 1-0 win over Ghana’s Black Stars in the Afcon 2019 qualifiers Saturday at the same venue and will be using the warm-up to correct themselves.

The Flames will be arriving from Morocco where they lost 3-0 to the hosts in their Group C qualifier.

Stars are yet to break camp and held a recovery training session Sunday at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies.

The team was rewarded with Ksh. 2million by the Football Kenya Federation for the win against Ghana that revived their campaign in Group F of the qualifiers.

“We have been well taken care of,” stand-in captain Musa Mohammed said.

The Tuesday match will kick-off at 3.00pm Kenyan time and tickets will go for VIP-500 and Russia-100.

Meanwhile, FKF president Nick Mwendwa has thanked fans for thronging the stadium Saturday to cheer the boys to victory.

“I want to thank all those who turned up for the match. The atmosphere was crucial for us to pick up maximum points,” the youthful football administrator said.
