    Tickets for the highly anticipated FIFA World Cup qualifier between Harambee Stars and Gabon at Nyayo National Stadium have officially sold out.

    The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) confirmed the development on Saturday, March 22, 2025, through a statement shared on social media, a day before the crucial match. FKF also acknowledged the overwhelming support from Kenyan football fans ahead of the Sunday evening showdown.

    Massive Support as Harambee Stars Push for 2026 World Cup Spot

    The match is expected to attract a capacity crowd, with fans set to create an electrifying atmosphere at Nyayo Stadium, waving the red, black, and green of the national flag.

    FKF expressed gratitude to supporters for their unwavering loyalty, urging them to rally behind the team in their bid to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

    “All tickets for our FIFA World Cup qualifier against Gabon are officially SOLD OUT! Your unwavering support means everything! Let’s paint Nyayo red, black, and green this Sunday. Come cheer the team and let your voices be heard—your energy could make all the difference,” FKF said in a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter).

    FKF had earlier urged fans to purchase their tickets in advance, as no physical tickets were available. Supporters were able to buy tickets exclusively online via tikiti.co.ke or by dialing *51955#.

    Regular tickets were going for Sh300, VIP tickets at Ssh1,000, and VVIP tickets at Sh10,000

    The ticket sales deadline was Saturday, March 22, at 4:00 PM, with FKF highlighting the match’s importance in Kenya’s campaign for a World Cup slot.

    “This home fixture against Gabon is a crucial encounter for Harambee Stars as they continue their campaign for a spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Fans are urged to turn up in large numbers to cheer the team to victory,” FKF added.

    Harambee Stars’ World Cup Qualification Hopes

    Kenya’s Harambee Stars currently sit fourth in Group F with six points from three matches, trailing leaders Ivory Coast by 12 points.

    Their last match ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw against The Gambia, showcasing attacking intent and resilience. Head coach Benni McCarthy remains optimistic, insisting that Kenya’s 2026 FIFA World Cup dream is still alive.
