ODM nominee for Kajulu ward, Clifford Mwalo has been missing for one month and nobody seems to know where he might be. Even the ODM party has not raised a complaint with the police or even announced this sad news.
The candidate who left Kisumu on 5th June for China was only traced until Dubai where he arrived and has not been heard of since then.
According to friends and relatives of the aspirant, Cliff can’t take more than 2 hours before communicating with his family but this time his silence is worrying his friends, supporters and family.
The family reported the disappearance to the police which traced his movement and confirmed that he left the country on 5th June after boarding an Emirates flight at JKIA. His arrival destination was confirmed to be Dubai where he was supposed to take a connecting flight. The trail has gone cold at Dubai airport.
POlice is now trying to check the flight details and see if his disappearance is political as his main opponent, Roy Ochieng Samo later took him to court while he was away and was awarded the nomination certificate after winning the petition.
