The High Court through Justice Chacha Mwita have dismissed the petition by Harun Mwau who was seeking to compel the IEBC to stop the elections on October 26
The High Court said that it did not have the jurisdiction to compel the the electoral management body, IEBC from stopping the October 26 election
Harun Mwau had the petitioned the court to postpone the elections saying that the environment was volatile and that the IEBC could not deliver a credible election on October 26.

Earlier today the Supreme court adjourned a case by three voters who wanted to stop the elections.The Supreme court lack quorum to proceed with the hearing and therefore asked adjourned the matter.
