- Check for a Wireless Network Adapter
First, make sure your computer can connect to Wi-Fi.
- Most laptops have a built-in wireless (Wi-Fi) adapter.
- For desktop computers, check if there’s a wireless card or external USB Wi-Fi adapter installed.
If your desktop doesn’t have one, you’ll need to purchase and install a compatible USB Wi-Fi adapter.
- Turn On the Wi-Fi Feature
