- Launch the WhatsApp app on your smartphone.
- Navigate to the group you want to delete by tapping on it in your chat list.
- Tap on the group name at the top of the chat screen to open the group info page.
- Scroll down to the list of participants.
- For each member, tap on their name, and then select “Remove [member’s name]”. Confirm the removal when prompted.
- Repeat this process until all participants have been removed from the group.
- Once all members have been removed, scroll to the top of the group info page.
- Tap on your own name and select “Exit Group”. Confirm your exit when prompted.
- After exiting the group, you’ll be redirected to your chat list.
- Locate the group chat again (it will now show as a “You left” group).
