How To Draw Stitch

Stitch is a popular and lovable alien character known for his big ears, wide smile, and playful personality. Drawing Stitch may seem tricky at first, but by breaking it down into small parts, you can create a cute version of him with ease. Here is how to draw stitch.
- Draw the Head
Start by sketching a large oval for Stitch’s head. Make it slightly wider at the bottom to capture his rounded face. Then, lightly draw a centerline going down the middle of the face to help with placing the features.
- Add the Eyes and Nose
On either side of the centerline, draw two large oval eyes. Leave a small white circle in each eye to make them look shiny. Between the eyes, draw a small round nose and shade it in. Right under the nose, add a wide, smiling mouth.
- Sketch the Ears
Draw two big, curved ears on each side of the head. Stitch’s ears are long, and they curve slightly upwards. Inside each ear, add a smaller shape to show the inner ear. You can colour these parts pink later.
- Draw the Body
Below the head, draw a small oval shape for Stitch’s body. It should be shorter than the head. Then, sketch two arms on the sides—each with three thick fingers. Draw two short legs underneath the body, each with three stubby toes.
- Add the Details
Draw small claws at the ends of the fingers and toes. On his back, you can add a few small spikes to show his alien features. Around the eyes, you may draw light wrinkles or fur lines to bring out his expression.
- Colour Your Drawing
Use blue for Stitch’s body and darker blue for the patches around his eyes and back. His inner ears should be pink, and the eyes should be black with white highlights.
