Clove oil is a natural remedy known for its antibacterial, antifungal, and pain-relieving properties. It is often used for toothaches, skin care, aromatherapy, and as a natural insect repellent. Steps to Make Clove Oil

  1. Prepare the Cloves
If you are using whole cloves, lightly crush them using a mortar and pestle or the back of a spoon. This helps release their natural oils. If using ground cloves, you can skip this step.
  2. Combine with Carrier Oil
Place the crushed cloves or ground cloves into a clean glass jar. Pour the carrier oil over them, ensuring the cloves are fully submerged.
  3. Infuse the Mixture
Close the jar tightly and shake it gently to mix. Place the jar in a warm, dark place for about two weeks, shaking it once a day to help the infusion process.
  4. Strain the Oil
After two weeks, strain the oil using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove the solid clove particles. Pour the strained oil into a clean jar or bottle for storage.
  5. Store Properly
Keep the clove oil in a cool, dark place. It can last for several months if stored in an airtight container away from direct sunlight.
