IEBC vice chairperson, Consolata Nkatha has said that the commission will on Monday afternoon announce the final tally of the presidential results.

Ms Nkatha said that the winner of the polls will be declared at 3.30 pm. She invited all the presidential candidates at the BOMAS of Kenya for the declaration of the President elect.

The final tally will be announced without results from Siaya, Homa Bay, Kisumu and Migori where the elections did not take place due to insecurity.

The commission reckons that results form the 25 constituencies would not affect the outcome of the election.

The elections in the four counties were postponed to October 28 but did not take place either.

Uhuru Kenyatta has so far garnered over 7 million votes translating into 98% of the votes cast.
