Imogen Waterhouse, often known as Immy, is an English actress and model born on June 9, 1994, in Hammersmith, London.

Growing up in a creatively charged and affluent family in Chiswick, London, she is the daughter of Norman Waterhouse, a renowned plastic surgeon, and Elizabeth Waterhouse, a former cancer care nurse.

Imogen’s path into the entertainment industry was shaped by her training at the Oxford School of Drama, though she initially balanced this ambition with a successful modeling career.

Known for her striking beauty and versatile talent, Imogen has carved a niche for herself in both acting and modeling, following in the footsteps of her equally accomplished siblings.

    Siblings

Imogen is one of four siblings in the Waterhouse family, each of whom has pursued creative or entrepreneurial endeavors, making the family a notable presence in fashion and entertainment.

Her older sister, Alice Suki Waterhouse, born January 5, 1992, is the most prominent of the siblings, recognized as a multifaceted actress, model, and entrepreneur.

Suki began modeling at 16, working with major brands like Burberry, Tommy Hilfiger, and Ferragamo, and has graced the covers of Vogue, Elle, and Tatler.

Her acting credits include roles in films like The Divergent Series: Insurgent (2015), The Bad Batch (2016), and the Amazon Prime series Daisy Jones & The Six (2023), where she played Karen Sirko.

Suki also co-founded the fashion accessories brand Pop & Suki, worn by celebrities like Lady Gaga and Emma Stone, and has ventured into music with an album and EP release.

The youngest siblings are twins Madeleine (Maddi) and Charlie Waterhouse, born on June 14, 1999.

Madeleine, like her sisters, has pursued modeling, signing with Storm Management and landing her first major gig as the cover star for the teen edition of Britain’s Tatler magazine in 2015.

She has walked runways for Dolce & Gabbana and appeared in editorials for Vogue and Elle, while also exploring music with cover songs like Dream by Priscilla Ahn and live performances at fashion events.

Madeleine, who has over 100,000 Instagram followers, is known for her versatile style and has collaborated with her sisters on projects like Pop & Suki.

Charlie, the only brother, has taken a different route, focusing on entrepreneurship as a graphic designer and illustrator.

He has worked with brands like Nike and Adidas and co-founded a T-shirt design label with friends, including Georgia May Jagger and Cara Delevingne.

    Career

Waterhouse signed with Next Model Management in 2014, the same agency as her sister Suki, and quickly gained traction in the fashion world.

Within her first year, she modeled for Urban Outfitters and Tommy Hilfiger, appeared in a Vogue Russia editorial, and made her runway debut at London Fashion Week for Ashley Williams in 2015.

She and Suki also co-starred in a campaign for Tommy Hilfiger x MyTheresa.com, showcasing their sibling synergy.

However, Imogen’s passion for acting led her to prioritize roles on screen.

Her early acting experience came as an extra, which she parlayed into representation by exaggerating her role’s significance, a bold move that kickstarted her career.

She landed a supporting role alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Amy Adams in Tom Ford’s psychological thriller Nocturnal Animals (2016).

From 2018 to 2021, she starred as Queen Rosmund in the fantasy series The Outpost, portraying the last surviving member of an overthrown royal family.

Her role as Jinny in Apple TV’s The Buccaneers (2023–present), a modern period drama, has been a significant milestone, with Imogen returning for the second season, expected in 2025.

She also played a key role in the 2018 horror film Braid, a psychological thriller likened to Saw for its intense narrative.
