InfoTrak is not able to conduct any polls now as more than 75% of their 50 telephone lines have been blocked by Safaricom in an unexplained circumstance. All the bills have been paid and license is up to date but the pollster cannot access most of their lines.

According to sources within the polling agency, the pollster cannot conduct any polls now as Safaricom has blocked of their telephone lines which they use to call and record feedback from respondents.

We have reached out to Safaricom for comment on this but none is forthcoming. The pollster believes that the Jubilee administration is wrongly profiling it as a pro-opposition pollster but they don’t earn any keep from the opposition nor do they have any such leanings.

The blockade has been in place for the last 2 weeks.
