    Siblings

Jens is the eldest of three siblings in a football-oriented family from Bodø.

His younger brother, Runar Hauge, is also a professional footballer who came through the Bodø/Glimt system and has played for clubs including Grorud, Jerv, and Hobro IK in Denmark.

Their constant childhood rivalry and competition are credited by both with driving their development and pushing each other to improve.

Hauge also has a younger sister, Thale Hauge, who plays football for Bodø/Glimt’s women’s team.

Their parents are Jan Ingvald Hauge and Gunn Heidi Hauge, who have been supportive throughout the family’s football journeys.

    Career

Hauge signed his first professional contract with Bodø/Glimt on 12 April 2016 at the age of 16.

The following day he made his senior debut in a Norwegian Cup match against IF Fløya.

He came on as a substitute and scored a hat-trick. He went on to become the club’s youngest goalscorer in the Eliteserien that season.

After a loan spell at Aalesund in 2018, he returned to establish himself as a key player.

He helped Bodø/Glimt secure promotion and then starred in the 2020 title-winning campaign with 14 league goals in 18 appearances.

In October 2020, he transferred to AC Milan. Subsequent moves took him to Eintracht Frankfurt, where he contributed to their success, including a loan spell at Gent.

    He later returned to Bodø/Glimt.

On the international stage, he made his senior Norway debut in October 2020 against Romania. He was also included in the squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

    Accolades

With Bodø/Glimt, Hauge has won the Eliteserien in 2020 and 2024. He also won the Norwegian Football Cup in 2025–26.

At Eintracht Frankfurt, he lifted the UEFA Europa League in the 2021–22 season. Individually, he was named Eliteserien Young Player of the Year in 2020.

He was also recognised by VG as the top player in Norwegian football that same year.
