    Justice Odunga Orders Miguna Be Presented In Court At 2:30 PM

    The lawyer representing the Department of immigration was tongue tied when the Justice Odunga asked him why it was impossible to present the applicant as required by the seven court orders.

    He said that the applicant was still being held at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport because he cannot be allowed into the country.

    Miguna’s lawyers were demanding that the government should not be accorded audience until the applicant is presented in court. Senior counsel Khaminwa asked the court detain the lawyer appearing on behalf of the government until the court orders are obey.

    Justice Odunga has ordered that the court orders be obeyed and that Miguna should be placed under the custody of the court. He said that the department of immigration did not show any reason why the court order was not obeyed

    He has also ordered that the first, second and third applicants appear in court at 2:30 PM for further orders. He has said that he will not accept any affidavits or representation he asked that the said respondents present themselves in court
