A man dressed as a girl was arrested at Mukuyu girls Secondary school in Kakamega county during the music KCPE practicals.
The examiners raised alarm after his skills on the instruments appeared to be that of a professional. The man is said to be a form 3 student at Eden Valley School in Uasin Gishu County. The man is yet to be identified.
The Music teacher and the principal have been arrested after the incident. The man is being held at Lamukanda police station and will be arraigned at a court in Eldoret.
The Education CS Amina Mohamed said that Security had been beefed up to ensure that the exams run smoothly. She said that those caught cheating will be dealt with with the full force of the law.
A security guard has already been arrested for sneaking fake papers into an exam center.
Other than the two incidents the exams have kicked off swiftly.
