Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has accused former Starehe MP Maina Kamanda of grabbing land set aside for road reserves.
“Kamanda has grabbed and built houses on a road reserve)” he stated.
He said that the nominated legislator should not speak about church donations being given in public stating that even Jesus did good deeds in public.
“Even Jesus was doing good deeds publicly, it is written in the bible. You cannot come here to teach us these things,” Sonko said
Sonko was responding to Kamanda who had earlier stated that those who gave donations in church should not be doing so publicly.
Kamanda has been a vocal leader in the Kieleweke faction of the Jubilee party.
He was addressing the congregation during the Central Organization of Trade Unions’ (COTU) Prayer Day themed “Angamiza ufisadi ili kubuni nafasi za kazi.

He also accused former presidential candidate Pete Kenneth if bringing Kenya Re to it’s knees while he was at the helm of it.
