He has also accused chairman, Linus Kaikai of failing to follow procedures of releasing a joint statements.

Hannington Gaya who was also present at the meeting claims that Linus Kaikai called him threatening him. He said that Linus Kaikai had accused him of being the force behind president Uhuru Kenyatta’s  alleged threats on media houses.

Mr Gaya said that Linus Kaikai had stooped too low when he called him to solicit information on a meeting that hiss boss Tom Mshindi was in attendance.

He also took offense on the fact that Linus Kaikai with his position at the helm of such a big media house could not even spell his name.

Linus Kaikai had released a statement condemning the government of threatening media houses planning to give live coverage for the NASA swearing in. He had said that the media houses rejected the threats leveled towards them by the government and they were not actors to the NASA Jubilee contest but only messengers of what they considered affected the public interest.
