The Kenya Power directors were supposed to have their bail ruling on Tuesday morning at the Milimani Law Courts but that did not come to pass.

The hearing of the ruling was temporarily adjourned in the morning after power outage, forcing the court to adjourn bail application hearing for the 14 suspended bosses accused of economic crimes.

The senior managers at Kenya Power, including the Managing Director Ken Tarus, Commercial Services Manager KP Mungai,  ICT Manager Abubakar Swaleh, Supply Chain Manager Stanley Mutwiri, Regional Coordination Manager Samuel Ndirangu and Finance Manager Joshua Mutua, have been in remand since Saturday and Sunday for some.

The Salaries and Remuneration Commission chair nominee, Ben Chumo is also among those still in custody.

The suspects may have to spend another day as they await court ruling.
