    Kenyan AthleteKenyan Athlete Magdalyn Masai’s fiance, Jake Robertson finally went on his knee and proposed to her at the end of his run at the Great North Run competition.

    He finished the race in second place after Mo’ Farah. His girlfriend (Masai) was waiting to congratulate him.

    To her surprise Jake popped the question and stole the hearts of all the spectators.

    The Kenyan Athlete said yes to her now fiance.

    She had earlier on in the day participated in the women’s elite race where she finished fourth.

    The New Zealand marathoner said the proposal was a random thought he had while running the race.

    “In the last mile it just randomly came to my mind that today was the day,” he said.
