    Legendary Kenyan rapper Chris Kantai has passed on .The reasons behind his death are scanty but the rapper had been battling alcoholism over the past years.

    Kantai was known for his lyrical prowess in both the English and Swahili. He is famed from his hit single Happy featuring Stella Mwangi popularly known as STL.

    Photos of Kantai indulging in cheap liquor emerged a while ago with members of his family stating that he has been to various rehabilitation centres.

    He recorded his last song in 2016, a collaboration with rapper Khaligraph Jones.
