Kenyans on social media were disgruntled at local TV station NTV who had claimed that they would be showing all the world cup games but failed to show the match between Portugal and Spain as the continued with their normal programming.

In their defense NTV said that they were only licenced to air 32 games as allocated by FIFA.

    POLITE REMINDER

Due to FIFA rules on World Cup broadcasting, NTV is only licensed to air 32 matches, which are allocated by FIFA. However, the action continues tomorrow as Lionel Messi's Argentina takes on Iceland (4pm) and the Super eagles face off with Croatia (10pm)

However their excuse did not go down well with Kenyans on Social media who said that they had advertised that they would show all games

Another big Lie. When @KBCChannel1 get broadcast licence for world cup, its usually for the entire tournament. This will be a hard one to explain to the public

Poleni sana kama sio poisoned sugar ni fake liquor, contaminated milk,Chinese plastic eggs and now fake world cup matches promise from NTV

They said that they should partner with a better broadcaster other than Kwese sports , Most of them were disappointment that they still needed to pay for TV in order to watch the world cup as the free to air channels had joined the Kenyan cartels and scams.
