Director of Public Prosecution Keriako Tobiko has directed the Director Of Criminal Investigations to release NASA Strategist and Economist David Ndii on police bond pending investigations.
Further, DPP has directed that once investigations are completed, the resultant inquiry file be forwarded to the ODPP for appropriate directions.
The directive came even as Ndii was being transported to Muthaiga police station where he was set to spend the night.

He had earlier been arraigned at the Milimani law courts to answer to charges of incitement.
Ndii was arrested yesterday night at a hotel in Kwale where he had gone with hi family and transported to Nairobi to the DCI Headquarters. NASA leaders who had attempted to see him this morning were barred from accessing the DCI offices on Kiambu raid.
His wife Mwende while issuing a presser on Ndii’s arrest this morning claimed there had been attempts on her husband’s life.
Ndii has been a vocal critic of the powers that be and sparked the controversial secession talks in his column in one of the Dailies.

Ndiis is a daring challenge on the Gov. It can onli be allowed if the country is ready to allow radicalism. Kenya has a crazy media that will fan political fires for the sake of profits. Media houses have abandorned their mandate ti educate and inform. Constitutionaly was an election held in Kenya after the nullification of the aug. 8 poll? Yes.. unĺess the media is involved in a scheme to execute chaos in this country I realy cannot see the direction its trying to lead us. Ndiis actions and utterances are treasonable. The continous political debates are uncalled for at this point in time. Thought the gist would be to focus on issues to heal this nation . The opposite is evident. who will the media be selling their news when there is chaos. We are playing with fire.. we need to recognise this before we get the burns
