A 30 year old man has been positively identified by the victims that were sexually assaulted in Kericho. The victims identified the man from an identification parade.
“The gang of 4 armed with crude weapons broke into the house, severely injured a 78 year old man, fatally wounded his wife aged 73yrs, robbed them of money and sexually assaulted their 3 grand daughters,” a statement from the DCI said on Thursday.

The family of area businessman was attacked in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.
The man and his three daughters plus their maid were rushed to Litein Mission Hospital with severe injuries.
Neighbours are said to have called for help but momentarily disallowed the police from moving the deceased’s remains decrying the rising levels of insecurity in the area.
It is in this same area that a teacher and his wife were brutally murdered.
Confirming the incident was Bureti OCPD Ali Abdulahi who noted that officers are already looking into the matter.
