KFCB Boss, Ezekiel Mutua Suspends Airing of DJ Afro’s Controversial Movies

Kenya Film and Classification Board (KFCB) boss, Ezekiel Mutua has banned Dj Afro movies citing that the movies are distasteful to the younger generation.

Popular DJ Afro, also known as James Muigai’s content will stop the airing the controversial movies on Gikuyu TV channel.

Ezekiel Mutua shared that the body had to cut the movies because it is normally aired and distributed by unscrupulous business people without approval by the Board.

The TV station’s management, DJ Afro and his promoters met with the KFCB boss and decided that all content will be suspended as they await communication on the board’s position to arrest the culprits distributing the materials.

Gikuyu TV was ordered to suspend airing of all unrated material until they are all submitted for examination and classification for age suitability.
