    Nairobi Governor, Evans Kidero

Former Nairobi governor Dr. Evans Kidero has said that the increase in Nairobi county revenue is not unusual.

He says that the increase was due to the seasonal tickets paid by the 30,000 matatus, paid on a monthly basis.

He said that this revenue is always collected within the first week of the month and that the increase being peddled around is based on lies.

Dr.Kidero said that the current regime should not down play his achievements as he increased the county revenue from Sh.5 Billion to Sh. 12 Billion and even introduced the ejiji pay platform.
