The Las Vegas Raiders have made a bold move to reset their franchise, agreeing to a five-year contract worth up to $172 million with veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins.

- The Atlanta Falcons remain responsible for about $8.7 million, thanks to offset language from his previous contract
- Cousins is also guaranteed $10 million in 2027, whether he stays or is released
The deal includes a two-year, $80 million option, giving Las Vegas flexibility depending on performance and the development of their rookie quarterback.

He also continues to recover from a 2023 Achilles injury suffered during his time with the Vikings.
