A Kisii County ward representative was on Tuesday charged with defiling a teenage girl at Nyamarambe area in Gucha South Sub-County.
Moticho MCA Evance Omwansu Mokoro also known as Baraka is said to have defiled a 16 year old on diverse dates.
Baraka appeared before Senior Principal Magistrate Denis Mikoyan where he was charged with defiling the minor between June 2016 and September 2017.
The lawmaker was also charged with a second count of committing an indecent act with a child during the same period.

The former Kisii County Deputy Speaker pleaded not guilty and was released on a cash bail of Sh50,000 or Sh200,000 bond.
He is expected in court on May 16, 2019.
