Lupita Nyong’o is the daughter of Prof. Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o, now the governor of Lakeside County of Kisumu. He is building a Lupita Nyong’o themed arts centre.

It seems like the governor’s immediate plans are to have his daughter Lupita Nyong’o inspire the generations in the county by giving back in a way.

The county government is planning to build a theatre and arts centre which will help nurture the talents and encourage the creativity of young people who now lack space as every open space is being filled with apartments and buildings.
